Southern NH Education Center is the home of Southern NH Montessori Academy (ages 3 months through 6th grade) and the NH School of Applied Learning (6th-8th grade).

We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:

Toddler Lead Teacher (18 -36 months)

DESCRIPTION: Southern NH Montessori Academy in Londonderry, NH is a private, independent school serving students from 3 months through 6th grade. We are looking for an experienced Lead Montessori teacher for our Toddler classroom (ages 18 -36 months)  beginning in late August 2024

The ideal candidate:

  • Holds a BA/BS degree
  •  
Has a deep understanding of and commitment to multi-age learning environments and Montessori philosophy
  • 
Is committed to professional development and best practices in education
  • Is outgoing, personable, and compassionate
  • 
Demonstrates a high level of organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Positive and effective classroom management

EXPERIENCE and EXPECTATIONS

  • Montessori Infant/ Toddler credential from a MACTE accredited institution or participation in  training during the 2023/ 2024 school year required
  • Teaching experience with infant/toddler students required
  • Experience with differentiating instruction to meet the needs of each child
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty to enhance curriculum and community
  • Excellent communication skills with parents
  • Criminal background check, updated health form and CPR/First Aid Certification required;

Early Childhood Assistant (3-6 years)

DESCRIPTION: Southern NH Montessori Academy is looking for an Early Childhood Classroom Assistant (3 – 6 years) in our private independent school.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Montessori early childhood credential required (AMS and/or AMI)
  • BA/BS degree preferred. Understanding of and commitment to multi-age learning environments and Montessori philosophy
  • Experience with differentiating instruction to meet the needs of each child
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty to enhance curriculum and community
